Who are LandVac

LandVac Vacuum Glazing for the European Market

Advanced Vacuum Glazing Technology

LandVac is a high-performance vacuum glazing solution developed by LandGlass, offering a superior alternative to traditional double glazing. This innovative product consists of two tempered glass panes separated by micro support pillars, sealed around the edges, and incorporating a vacuum chamber within the cavity. The vacuum layer significantly reduces heat transfer, delivering outstanding thermal efficiency.

About LandGlass

Founded in 1999, LandGlass specialises in glass tempering technology, R&D, and manufacturing. Recognising the challenges in combining toughened glazing with vacuum cavities, LandGlass leveraged its expertise to develop a groundbreaking vacuum glazing solution. By using 4mm toughened glass, LandVac requires 90% fewer micro-pillars than competing products, offering a clearer aesthetic and improved performance.

LandGlass operates a cutting-edge automated production line spanning 500 metres, with an annual capacity of 120,000m² of vacuum glazing. The company offers a wide range of sizes (from 300mm x 300mm to 1500mm x 2500mm) and customised shapes at competitive prices, continually refining its products for enhanced performance and aesthetics.

LandVac Heritage Vacuum Glazing

LandVac Heritage is specifically designed to improve the energy efficiency and functionality of period and heritage properties, offering:

  • Fully Tempered Glass – Maintains safety and durability with surface stress exceeding 90MPa.
  • Superior Thermal Insulation – Two to four times better than standard insulated glass, featuring a high-performance Low-E coating that reduces U-values to 0.4 W/m²K.
  • Extended Lifespan – Flexible edge sealing and high-efficiency getters ensure more than 25 years of performance, even in harsh conditions.
  • Condensation Resistance – The vacuum interspace eliminates internal condensation, even at extreme temperatures down to -40°C.
  • Effective Noise Reduction – Blocks sound transmission, reducing external noise levels by up to 41dB compared to standard laminated glass (29dB).
  • Versatile Installation – LandVac’s performance remains consistent across different elevations and installation angles, making it suitable for sloped glazing and roofing applications.

LandVac vacuum glazing sets a new standard for thermal efficiency, acoustic insulation, and durability, making it the ideal choice for modern and heritage projects alike across Europe.
